How do I find a jet airport nearby?

Start with your town rather than the big hub. Many homes are within easy reach of several airports that private jets can use. We check their runways, customs, opening hours and drive times against the aircraft that suits your group, then suggest the best fit.

Can a jet collect me anywhere?

Not quite anywhere. Runway length, weight limits, opening hours, noise rules and customs decide which aircraft can use an airport, which is why we match the two together.

What is an FBO?

It is the private terminal: a lounge, parking and ground handling where you meet your aircraft. Busy airports often have several, each run by a different company.

Is a smaller airport cheaper?

Sometimes. Fees can be lower and the drive shorter, but the price depends more on where suitable aircraft are based, because empty positioning flights are usually billed.

What will the flight cost?

Typical hourly estimates before tax and fees: turboprop $1,800–3,200, light jet $3,500–5,500, midsize $4,500–7,000, super-midsize $6,500–9,500 and large cabin $8,500–13,000. Your quote rolls positioning, fees and tax into one all-in figure.

Do I have to join anything?

No. There is no membership, deposit or account. You pay only after choosing an option and signing the charter agreement.

Can my dog fly with us?

On many aircraft, yes, once the operator has approved it ahead of time. Note the breed and size in your request and we will only price aircraft that accept it.

Who actually flies the plane?

An FAA Part 135 operator in the US, or the foreign equivalent abroad, flies and controls the aircraft. Private Jet Charter Near Me is the broker that arranges it, and the operator is named before you book.

How far ahead should I ask?

For holidays, ski weekends and summer island trips, as early as you can, because the best-placed aircraft and parking go first. For ordinary dates, shorter notice often works out.

Can I fly back into a different airport?

Yes. Many travellers leave from one local airport and return to another, for example to avoid evening traffic. Tell us, and we price it that way.

What do I need to bring on the day?

A government photo ID for each adult, passports for international trips, and your bags. Your advisor confirms anything the operator needs beforehand.

Are taxes included in the price?

Yes. On domestic US trips the quote includes the 7.5% federal excise tax and the per-passenger segment fee; international trips include the taxes that apply to them.
